In my observation with book and internet.the rank no 5 tank is t-34.In early 1940 the T-34 show panzer unit not so powerful enough to fight in front.T-34 is the best tank in early world's war 2.The design tank with floop in front.With 75.2mm AT gun and armanent with mashigen.Have max amor up to 65mm.4 crew 1 guner 1 radio 1 loader and 1 driver.It was so powerful than panzer tank in early ww2.You all can imagine how large Rusian can produced T.34 in 1 year?for you information T-34 been produce more than 1000 in 1 month.The Russian T-34 Tank was a Soviet medium tank produced from 1939to 1958. It is widely regarded to have been the world's best tank when the Soviet Union entered World War II, and although its armor and armament were surpassed by later tanks of the era, it is credited as the war's most effective, efficient and influential design. The design and construction of the tank were continuously refined during the war to improve effectiveness and decrease costs, allowing steadily greater numbers of tanks to be fielded.
The rank no 4 tank is sherman.sherman is best American tank in early war.with the design floop in front.75mm AT gun and been upgrade to 76mm gun with more high caliber.4 crew.loader guner radio and driver.max amor 86mm and have high speed movement.The M4 Sherman weighed 32 tons, had a crew of five, it had a speed of 29mph and it had fuel for 100 miles. In addition to its 75mm or 76mm main gun it had a typical setting of three machine guns, one in front, one parallel to the main gun, and an anti-aircraft heavy machine gun on top. There were also many variants of the Sherman for every possible role, such as various engineering vehicles. After World War 2 Shermans served in various armies worldwide and even fought in tank battles as late as 1973.
No 3 rank tank is Tiger.The German Tiger Tank was possibly the most famous tank of World War 2. Officially designated Panzerkampfwagen VI Sdkfz 181, it was introduced in August 1942 and was at that time the most powerful and heavily armored tank in the world. The success of the Tiger was so profound, that no allied tank dared to engage it in open combat. This psychological fear soon became to be known as "Tigerphobia". To prevent further damage to allied morale, General Montgomery banned all reports mentioning of the Tiger's prowness in battle.
Despite it's overall excellent design, there were mechanical and logistical problems for a tank of its size. Improvements were made as suggested by experienced tankers through the course of the war, most notably was the replacement of the turret commander's cupola, addition of an anti-aircraft machine gun ring and replacement of the rubber rimmed road wheels to steel wheels. The headlamps were also changed from two (one on each side) to a single lamp in the center. These and other modifications became to be known as early, mid and late production versions.
No 2 rank tank is panther.The Panther Tank served in World War II from mid-1943 to the end of the European war in 1945. With the unexpected design of the Soviet T-34, all existing German armored vehicle designs became obsolete and being replaced literally overnight. Among the features of the Panther's excellent combination of firepower, mobility, and protection which served as a benchmark for other nations' late war and immediate post-war tank designs and it is known as the best tank design of World War II.
No 1 rank tank is pershing or M-26 .The Pershing or M-26 is the best tank in ww2.eventhough the Pershing produce late in ww2 it can also be rank in the ww2.The Pershing been saw in combat in 1944 at France.In fact only 2 Pershing been destroy by panzer unit.The 88mm gun and Tiger 1 destroy the Pershing or M-26.Pershing have 100mm max amor front.90mm deadly AT gun.36km perhour.5 crew loader guner driver radio and comander..With Pershing high speed and powerful AT gun.It can destroy king tiger and tiger in 1000 yard.
THE CONCLUSION.Maybe some of u wondering why im not put king tiger in my list.KING TIGER cannot be put on the list because KING TIGER have many problem in battle..first.The design of KING TIGER is so huge or big.it become easy target from enemy tank eventhough KING TIGER HAVE 150MM max amor.The speed of KING TIGER also very slow.only 18km perhour...for u information.many of KING TIGER been capture by alies army because the crew left the tank.The engine become hot in long distance and become stuck.hard to repair by engineer.need lot of fuel to operated.as you know the end of war nazi have problem in shot of fuel..to be continued
